ELECMAN® Malleable iron Rigid conduit clamp backs with two holes are specifically designed to create spacing between a mounting surface and rigid conduits. These clamps are commonly used in electrical installations to securely fasten and support rigid conduits, ensuring proper alignment and minimizing movement or vibration. The two-hole design enables secure attachment to the mounting surface while providing stability for the conduit.
On the other hand, ELECMAN® Malleable iron IMC/Rigid conduit straps of the one-hole type are utilized to secure IMC or Rigid conduit to wood, masonry, or similar surfaces where greater load-bearing capacity is required. These straps offer a single hole for attachment and are suitable for applications where a higher level of support is necessary.
While both products serve the purpose of securing rigid conduits, they are designed for slightly different applications. The two-hole clamp backs are ideal for providing spacing and stability between the conduit and mounting surface, whereas the one-hole straps are suitable for situations where greater load-bearing capacity is needed.
